Despite our best efforts, there are times that we simply can’t save a tooth and it needs to be extracted. And sometimes there’s just no room for a tooth in a crowded mouth or it is locked in the jaw, as often happens with wisdom teeth. At Advanced Dental Care & Orthodontics, we can care for our patients with these problems. Dr. Cisneros has taken advanced dental training that enables him to extract even problematic wisdom teeth and to make other surgical corrections of gums or bone.
During treatments like these, it’s important to us that our patients stay comfortable. Every staff member has completed training that helps them stay in good communication with patients so we can assist them whenever it’s needed. If a patient needs a pause in the treatment, then we pause for however long necessary.
Dr. Cisneros also makes sure that the area of an extraction is fully numbed before any oral surgery takes place. Sedation can be provided to help an anxious patient get the treatment they need.
